This is a static editorial site. We don’t run user accounts, sell data, or use behavioral ad networks. The privacy footprint is small. This policy explains it plainly.

What this site is

Prompts to Product is an editorial website operated by an individual publisher. It hosts research-based guides, comparisons, and reference pages for solo SaaS founders. The site does not have user accounts, paid subscriptions handled on this domain, or any feature that requires you to log in.

What we collect directly on this site

The site itself collects very little. The forms and links visible to you behave as follows:

  • Newsletter subscription form. When you submit the email field on any page, the form posts to Beehiiv, our newsletter platform. We do not store the email address on this site. Your email goes to Beehiiv, where it becomes part of the newsletter mailing list. See Beehiiv’s privacy policy for how Beehiiv handles subscriber data.
  • Affiliate link clicks. Some links on the site are affiliate links to vendors like Lovable, Beehiiv, ShipFast, and Vercel. When you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor may set a cookie on their domain so that we receive credit for the referral if you sign up. We do not see your browsing on the destination site beyond the fact that you arrived from us.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, basic request logs are kept by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance. These logs include IP address, user agent, and request URL. They are not used for advertising and are not joined with any other identifier we hold.

What we don’t collect

  • We do not run a Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising tracker on this site.
  • We do not set cookies on our own domain for tracking. The site itself is essentially cookie-free; any cookies you see in your browser from this domain are first-party session cookies set by the platform that hosts the page (currently none required).
  • We do not sell, rent, or share contact information with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not require you to create an account to read anything.

Newsletter data

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored at Beehiiv. The legal basis is your direct consent (you submitted the form). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of any newsletter email; that removes you from the mailing list immediately. We do not retain a separate copy of subscriber emails on this site.

Affiliate disclosure (also covered separately)

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase or signup at the destination, this site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The affiliate relationships in place at the time of writing include Lovable, Beehiiv, ShipFast, and Vercel. We synthesize public documentation, pricing, and user reports into decision frameworks rather than first-person reviews; affiliate relationships never determine which tool we recommend for a given use case. The same disclosure appears in the footer of every page and in our about page.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. Affiliate destinations may set their own cookies on their own domain when you click through — that’s how affiliate attribution works in general. Those cookies are governed by the destination vendor’s policy, not this one.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for an adult professional audience (founders evaluating SaaS tools). It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

International readers and your rights

Readers in the EU, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with privacy regulations have specific rights regarding their personal data. Because this site does not store personal data directly (the only personal data we touch is the newsletter email, which lives at Beehiiv), exercising most of those rights involves Beehiiv’s tools rather than ours. Specifically:

  • Access, correction, deletion of newsletter data: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email to be removed, or contact Beehiiv directly via their privacy policy.
  • Server-log data: for any request to access or delete server-log data tied to your IP address, contact us using the address below. We will work with our hosting provider to action the request within 30 days.
  • Withdraw consent: unsubscribing the newsletter withdraws consent for any further email contact from this site.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published at this URL and the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Material changes will also be communicated in the newsletter.

Contact

For privacy questions or data-rights requests, email the address listed on our contact page or reply to any email you receive from the newsletter. We read every reply.
